This retractable louvered roof system uses stacking technology developed and tested by Advanced Design Innovations (ADI) in Australia.
Developed in collaboration with ADI, the LouvreTec retractable roof gives homeowners and design teams a more flexible way to manage overhead cover. Like a conventional opening roof, it provides shelter, shade, and ventilation, but with the added ability to rotate to 90 degrees and retract away completely, creating clear open space above.

All aluminum louvers and extrusions used in LouvreTec’s systems are manufactured in an IS09002 quality assured environment to AS1866 & AS3902 standards. Marine grade stainless steel is used for drive axles, with stainless steel componentry fixings being standard.

The all-new 220 Retract Opening Roof has been carefully engineered to incorporate a number of unique features:
- Designed to be manufactured in module size of up to 19’ long, the heavy duty 8-11/16” blade spans from 16’5” in low wind zones down to 13’ 2” in extra high wind zones.
- These unique and stylish louvers can be stacked to 28% of there opening space, then can be fully extended and then closed to form a sealable roof.
- The louvers are rotated to 90 degrees for retracting and stacking, however can be extended fully open through to 135 degrees to ensure the full benefits of an operable system.
- As the louver blades all retract to one end the 220 Retract is available in two distinct configurations:
1: Frame for sides- with louvers stacking against the house, or design permitting, under the soffit.
2: Frame three sides- allowing clear, open spaces when the louvers are in retract position.
